About Joanne Van LeerdamIn addition to writing poetry and short stories, Joanne is a teacher of English, History and Drama/Production. She is an active member and performer in her local theatre company. Her hobbies include reading, music, and photography. Joanne loves travelling, and has visited many places in Australia as well as holidaying in New Zealand, Fiji, the USA and Canada at different times. Joanne's first book of poetry, 'Leaf', was published in June, 2016. Joanne has also published a short play, 'The Shakespeare Omelette'. Both are available via Amazon and iBooks. She anticipates the birth of her second book of poetry in February or March next year, and is already thinking about possible names.
